Today we met Mustafa from Turkey. Our guest will spend in Petrozavodsk a month and he decided to take One-on-One Russian course at our School.
Last Friday Pauliina, Sarah and Edward finished their courses of the Russian language in Petrozavodsk. Talking about the progress in Russian we cannot help saying that it is significant and our student have greatly improved their communicative skills. You can read their feedback here. Summer Russian Courses
“We covered a wide variation of vocabulary and situations where you have to speak Russian. With discussions of many topics we learned new words and ways to express ourselves in Russian. My host family was very nice. My room was big and quite nice. It was very nice to meet Russian girls, who acted as volunteers. They made the effort to talk to everybody. Course "Enjoy Russian", beginner level
This Russian language course is for complete beginners. You will gain the necessary knowledge required for everyday communication.
The emphasis is laid on conversation on simple themes, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The phonetic course is offered. The instructions are given in Russian and English.
Course “EasyRussian”, elementary level
This Russian language course is designed for people who have learned a minimum of 100 language hours or have studied before. The emphasis is laid on conversation on everyday themes, pronunciation, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The instructions are given in Russian with minimum English.
Course "Let's speak Russian", basic level
This intensive Russian language course is intended for people who have learned Russian for 300 hours and want to activate and improve the Russian language skills.
The emphasis is laid on conversation on everyday themes, pronunciation, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The instructions are given in Russian with minimum English. Curriculum is here
Course "Easy about difficult things", first certificate level This intensive Russian language course is intended for the people who have learned Russian for 900 hours and want to activate and improve their Russian language skills. Course "About Russia and Russians in Russian", second certificate level. This intensive Russian language course is intended for people with a good proficiency in Russian, who have learned Russian for 1200 hours. The emphasis is laid on reading and speaking skills improvement, understanding of radio and TV programs, films, conversation on different social and cultural themes, reading of modern and classical Russian literature, and enlarging special vocabulary. Program for students lasts 12 weeks. The program includes 240-hour Russian course and 108-hour Internship.
Russian course - the size of the group is 4 – 10 people. The classes take place from Monday to Friday and there are 20 classes per week (10 am – 1.30 pm).
Internship – starts from the 3rd week of the program and lasts 10 weeks. Internship takes place 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday), 3 hours a day (3 pm – 6 pm). Internship is unpaid; you can work at museums, libraries, kid clubs, travel agencies, language courses, etc.

Our teachers will design a study program according to your wishes and level. All levels are offered: from beginners to the third certificate level. This Russian language course is for highly motivated people seeking individual tuition to make fast progress in the Russian language. This course is entirely tailor-made to fit your needs. Lessons are taught by qualified Russian language teachers.
The standard course is 20 hours/ week. We recommend taking at minimum, a 2 week course, at a maximum - as you wish. You are welcome to choose the dates of classes that are most convenient to you in the period from June to September.

This 2-month unique Russian language course is perfect for people who want to take a Russian language course and participate in a volunteer project. Staying with a Russian host family will improve your Russian language significantly and participating in cultural activities will give you a real idea about Russia, its history, people, and traditions.

The volunteer project lasts for one more month, work takes place from Monday to Friday (5 hours a day). Participating in the volunteer project is the perfect way to master your Russian for free. You can choose which field to volunteer in:

This unique 4-week program “Russian Mix: St.Petersburg & Petrozavodsk combines Russian Ñourses in 2 cities St. Petersburg and Petrozavodsk, Ñultural program, and Russian homestay.
The peculiarity of the program is that students have an opportunity to study the Russian language in two Russian cities related to the reign of Peter the Great.
Language course:
2-week course in St. Petersburg at “Swiss Center” + 2-week course in Petrozavodsk at “Enjoy Russian”. We offer a range of courses to cover different needs and levels of Russian proficiency. The total cost of the 2–week program is 490 euros incl. 60-hour course + homestay (incl. breakfast)Petrozavodsk (Karelia, Russia) is an ideal place for children who come to Russia for the first time. It is a beautiful, friendly, and safe city.
During two weeks the participants will improve their Russian language skills, experience Russian hospitality staying with Russian families, visit an open-air museum on Kizhi Island, visit St. Petersburg, and participate in everyday activities with their new Russian friends. In summer 2008 we organized the first international camp where 10 teenagers from San-Francisco and 30 teenagers from Russia took part in.

Study program:
There are 20 classes of 45 minutes each per week from Monday till Friday. The teachers are talented and experienced graduates from Russian universities who speak English, German, French, and Finnish.

13.00 – 15.00 – lunch
15.00 – 17.00 – every day activities at school
17.00 – free time with the families
Accommodation:
A Russian family will provide participants with separate furnished rooms and meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch is included on the weekends). As a rule, the host family have their own children; the family is responsible for the safety of their guests.
Cultural program:
This gives the perfect introduction into Russian culture and history. We organize 2 long-term excursions to Kizhi island on the first weekend and to St. Petersburg on the second weekend.
Every day Russian volunteers organize different activities and excursions to the local museums.
The cost: is 915 euros per person. The following is included: transfer St.Petersburg – Petrozavodsk- St. Petersburg, study program 40 hrs, staying with a Russian family (including all meals and all lunches) excursions to Kizhi island and St. Petersburg, every day activities (incl. rafting, museums, picnic, movie). We are ready to provide the adult supervisor with free accommodation, lunches, cultural program, and transfers. The children should have pocket money for buying souvenirs, presents etc.
Safety: The coordinator from our school is responsible for the safety of all participants. The coordinator is available online to answer parents’ questions.
