Today we are glad to welcome a new group of students from Belgium, Austria, and Italy. In a week some more students from Estonia will join us. Moreover, we have five students from Belgium, so we are sure, these students will find much in common :) Some of our guests are going to take part in the 2 week Russian courses, others in the 4 week course.

Summer Russian Courses
“We covered a wide variation of vocabulary and situations where you have to speak Russian. With discussions of many topics we learned new words and ways to express ourselves in Russian. My host family was very nice. My room was big and quite nice. It was very nice to meet Russian girls, who acted as volunteers. They made the effort to talk to everybody. And they were always in a good mood, smiling, and laughing; they made us feel that they really enjoyed spending time with us. We practiced a lot of Russian with them! Besides being trained by high-class Russian language teachers you’ll be sightseeing, practicing your Russian with Russian student-volunteers, living with a hostfamily like a real Russian, participating in different exciting activities and events, and traveling.
This program will be interesting for anyone who is looking for a summer course combining effective Russian language learning and interesting leisure activities. The size of the group is 10 people. The classes take place from Monday to Friday and there are 20 classes of 45 minutes each per week.
Course "Enjoy Russian", beginner level
This Russian language course is for complete beginners. You will gain the necessary knowledge required for everyday communication.
The emphasis is laid on conversation on simple themes, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The phonetic course is offered. The instructions are given in Russian and English.
Course “EasyRussian”, elementary level
This Russian language course is designed for people who have learned a minimum of 100 language hours or have studied before. The emphasis is laid on conversation on everyday themes, pronunciation, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The instructions are given in Russian with minimum English.
Course "Let's speak Russian", basic level
This intensive Russian language course is intended for people who have learned Russian for 300 hours and want to activate and improve the Russian language skills.
The emphasis is laid on conversation on everyday themes, pronunciation, basic grammar, and understanding of simple texts (oral and written). The instructions are given in Russian with minimum English. Curriculum is here
Course "Easy about difficult things", first certificate level This intensive Russian language course is intended for the people who have learned Russian for 900 hours and want to activate and improve their Russian language skills. The emphasis is laid on improvement of listening and speaking skills and essential grammar. The instructions are given in Russian. Curriculum is here
Course "About Russia and Russians in Russian", second certificate level. This intensive Russian language course is intended for people with a good proficiency in Russian, who have learned Russian for 1200 hours. The emphasis is laid on reading and speaking skills improvement, understanding of radio and TV programs, films, conversation on different social and cultural themes, reading of modern and classical Russian literature, and enlarging special vocabulary. The course is ideal for Slavic students - even for those who have studied Russian for awhile. Dates in 2011:

This Russian language course is for highly motivated people seeking individual tuition to make fast progress in the Russian language. This course is entirely tailor-made to fit your needs. Lessons are taught by qualified Russian language teachers.
The standard course is 20 hours/ week. We recommend taking at minimum, a 2 week course, at a maximum - as you wish. You are welcome to choose the dates of classes that are most convenient to you in the period from June to September.

This individual 2-week intensive Russian language course is specially designed for the businessman whose professional interests are connected with Russia. Qualified and professional teachers will help you succeed in learning Business Russian in a short amount of time. The basic or the first certificate level of Russian is required.
The standard Business Russian course includes 60 hours per 2 weeks. The duration of the course could be longer if necessary. You are welcome to choose the dates of classes which are more convenient to you all year round.

Staying with a Russian host family will improve your Russian language significantly and participating in cultural activities will give you a real idea about Russia, its history, people, and traditions.
The language course lasts for one month, classes take place from Monday to Friday.
The volunteer project lasts for one more month, work takes place from Monday to Friday (5 hours a day). Participating in the volunteer project is the perfect way to master your Russian for free. You can choose which field to volunteer in:
1)Creating Cultural projects - preparing and organizing cultural activities aimed at acquainting Russian youth with foreign countries;
2) Working with children – acquainting children with foreign countries, cooking, playing sports, music, and computer classes;
3) Assisting in a library - scanning rare books and translation work.

The total cost of the 8-week program is 1200 euros incl. a 80-hour individual course + 2-month homestay (incl. breakfast) We offer special courses for juniors, students, and adult groups. We have hosted student groups from the USA, Ireland, Switzerland, Belgium, and Finland.
Our teachers will design a special study course for the group according to their wishes and level. All levels are offered: from beginners to the third certificate level. We offer courses of any length from 2 weeks and more. There are 20 classes, 45 minutes each per week. The dates of course are flexible according to the group’s wishes in the period from June till September.
Group size is up to 4 people. Each participant of the group will get a discount 20 euros. We invite groups with supervisors. We will cover the costs for the group supervisor: homestay program with breakfast (in case the group is 20-30 people); homestay program with breakfast + excursion to Kizhi Island (in case there is a group of more than 30 people).

The total cost of the 2–week program is 400 euros incl. 50-hour course + homestay (incl. breakfast)Petrozavodsk (Karelia, Russia) is an ideal place for children who come to Russia for the first time. It is a beautiful, friendly, and safe city.
During two weeks the participants will improve their Russian language skills, experience Russian hospitality staying with Russian families, visit an open-air museum on Kizhi Island, visit St. Petersburg, and participate in everyday activities with their new Russian friends. In summer 2008 we organized the first international camp where 10 teenagers from San-Francisco and 30 teenagers from Russia took part in.

- ONLY groups with adult supervisor are invited.
- The participants’ age is 12-17 years
Study program:
There are 20 classes of 45 minutes each per week from Monday till Friday. The teachers are talented and experienced graduates from Russian universities who speak English, German, French, and Finnish.
The schedule:
10.00 – 13.00 – classes
13.00 – 15.00 – lunch
15.00 – 17.00 – every day activities at school
17.00 – free time with the families
Accommodation:
A Russian family will provide participants with separate furnished rooms and meals: breakfast and dinner (lunch is included on the weekends). As a rule, the host family have their own children; the family is responsible for the safety of their guests.
Cultural program:
This gives the perfect introduction into Russian culture and history. We organize 2 long-term excursions to Kizhi island on the first weekend and to St. Petersburg on the second weekend.
Every day Russian volunteers organize different activities and excursions to the local museums.
The cost: is 895 euros per person. The following is included: transfer St.Petersburg – Petrozavodsk- St. Petersburg, study program 40 hrs, staying with a Russian family (including all meals and all lunches) excursions to Kizhi island and St. Petersburg, every day activities (incl. rafting, museums, picnic, movie). We are ready to provide the adult supervisor with free accommodation, lunches, cultural program, and transfers. The children should have pocket money for buying souvenirs, presents etc.
Safety: The coordinator from our school is responsible for the safety of all participants. The coordinator is available online to answer parents’ questions.
