The second week of learning Russian starts today. On Saturday the boys and the girls visited Kizhi Island. They liked the amazing “Karelian Pearl” very much. It is one of the most favorite excursions for our students, and they enjoyed the beauty of the architectural ensemble a lot. Besides, three students from Estonia came to us this weekend, and today they will have their first classes at the “Enjoy Russian” language school.

Sabine Steger, Austria: "The teacher was never getting tired of explaining difficult things to us. The exercises were very helpful. I would recommend the Russian language school to other people because the program here is a lot of fun, the people are so nice and I'm very glad about my progress concerning my Russian language skills." Manuela Wolfmar, Austria: "The cultural topics and the grammar had a good balance. My family was great, they are such good people, and my room was so big and cozy. I felt like home. What I liked most was the Russian banya and ice-skating. Everything was organized very well and I felt very safe and in good hands. If I have a chance I will come back again!"
Jenny Gazzard, Great Britain: "Veronica was a great teacher. she gave me lots of conversation practice which was exactly what I asked for. All the cultural activities were really well-organized, interesting and fun. It was also flexible which I appreciated. The volunteers were lovely and always willing to help us with Russian and spending free time with us. My Russian has improved but I have also had a great time."
Lukasz Cuiba, Poland: " Content of The Russian language course and teaching was excellent."
Paula Redondo, Spain: "The teacher, Veronika, was really nice and I like very much her way to teach using films and other materials. I would recommend the program to other people because Petrozavodsk is a nice place to learn Russian as there are few foreign students and it's easy to communicate with Russians."
Graham Dickson, Scotland: "It was a great course, place and time. The teacher, Ksenia, really helped to bring on my Russian. She was very good at motivating and giving confidence. The volunteers were a great addition to the program and it was good to be able to talk to people and spend time with them."
Nicholas Marchalot, France: "It's a program of quality, professionalism and friendship. The Russian language course was exactly what I expected. Very good teacher with good method and adequate balance between new vocabulary, grammar, reading, translation, chat and interactivity (games and cartoons). I've made a significant progress in Russian." |
